Application of Guided Inquiry Model Using Self-Regulated Learning Approach to Improve Student's Creative Disposition and Creative Thinking Skill in Biology Subject

Given the importance of globalization and need to train students' thinking skills broad knowledge prepare them face demands 21st century work, education from start needs look more critically at educational practices learning methods that should be directed. This study seeks examine effect applying guided inquiry model with Self Regulated Learning approach creative dispositions in high school biology learning. To achieve this goal, a sample 70 students one State Senior High Schools Mataram, NTB. Subjects were purposively grouped into experimental class, namely using Guided Inquiry Model (IT-SRL) Approach control class Ordinary (IT) model. Data on obtained disposition questionnaire while data tests which compiled based indicators skills. Hypothesis testing uses. The results ANCOVA test showed who taught self-regulated had better than method (IT).
